Hi Guys,Well what a week weve had, me and the mrs and the little dog went for a day trip to wales on tuesday morning, weather was lovely, so we ended up travelling all around bala, and surrounding villages, fly fishing and staying an sites plus roadsine camping, just got back, sunday night, not a bad day trip at all,
Heres the mrs sunning herseldf right on the lake, cant get much closer than that.
We sawa few bongos so if that was you waving to us, let us know.....

We really had a great time, joined an angling club so we will be back on the river next weekend, kids with us this time. Lookng for an awning if any tips?.
We love it, best thing we did.

if its just for a day get your self a quechua base seconds pop up i have one easy up easy down picture not that good but use full cook in it and if it rains sit in it

Hi Thanks,
#Is this a seperate pop up, we are setting off to spain on a bongo adventure in august for ten days, i am looking at something taht maybe would be lightweight and we could get up and down fairly quickly. We are unsure if we should have a pullout sun awning as this may prove useful there.

HI TRY http://www.penybont-bala.co.uk/ right by the bridge, very friendly and cute, a little shop on there, no bar so not roudy, the lake is literally 1 mins walk. We stayed there. the rates are ok too. V ERY CLEAN.

You might like to take alook here  too http://www.bwch-yn-uchaf.co.uk Is there a particular area. Ive been down there a few times this year so may be able to point you in the right direction, depending if you have the children or not  they may like to be right by the riverside?

Just got back.. The site is a cracker, though it got very busy on the Saturday night... Plus a car ended up in the river!! Will have more details and photos later with luck
